Winwick Carnival Returns Bigger and Better for 2012 on Saturday 14th July

Firstly we would like to say BIG thank you to everybody who attended last year and supported the carnival without you the carnival couldn’t happen. This year we hope to make the carnival even bigger and better and would love your support! Winwick Carnival is run entirely by volunteers and relies on the kindness and generosity of its supporters, sponsors and advertisers. Following the success of last year’s event and the support and dedication of a team of local people over the last ten years, Winwick Carnival is once again taking place on Saturday 14th July 2012 from 12:00pm.

After last years success Winwick Carnival will return even bigger and better for 2012 and with the vast experience and knowledge gained by its new committee last year this years carnival is guaranteed to be a fantastic day and even better than last year.

Our purpose, as an independent community organisation, is to provide you, the people of the local community with an enjoyable event. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for the people, organisations and businesses of the area to come together to strengthen the community as a whole.

Winwick Carnival is supported largely by advertising and sponsorship, from local businesses and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the organisations who have shown their support this year and made Winwick Carnival possible.

This year, we have decided to donate a portion of any profits made to the St Oswald’s Church Roof fund. You can find out more about the church and its current situation in our programme which are being sold locally.

Organising the Carnival is a year-round job and we are always looking for people from our local community to continue to make it happen. • Funky Monks

  One of the UK’s best rock and pop cover bands. The FUNKY MONKS are a young and enthusiastic group from the top ranks of their profession. The band turns out a very tight and powerful sound with a great selection of rock, pop and soul classics from the last four decades.

• Fun Fair

  The fun starts at 12:00pm with a wide range of Rides, stalls and much much more. Why not have a go on our large selection of fun fair rides suitable for all the family or try your luck at Archery, can you reach the top of our climbing wall?? Don’t miss out, theres fun for all.
